Hosting a Popup Art Show about Sustainability.  Each class will organize a popup art show to teach our community about the concepts of sustainability as related to food systems.

This is a project through The Lexicon of Sustainability.

If you could not attend the show that your class planned, you have to do one of the following:
  • Attend another classes show
  • Work on a special project related to our studies of sustainability - Click Here For Details

    • By the library/Caribou Coffee
      • Lots of people
    • By Lake Laverne and the MU
      • Lots of people during lunch
      • Maybe could get someone to speak along with our event - or we could coordinate with another speaker who is already planning on being there

  • The Cafe (restaurant) - Friday and Saturday nights, or Sunday mornings

  • Wheatsfield  - 12
    • Plan an event with the store, that they could help market
1st Period Planning:
  • Downtown might be best
  • ISU events might be less than ideal because people go for the games, not to be educated
  • Ames Public Library might be a good choice - there are a lot of people there during certain times
    • The library is moving in mid-November, so we should do it before then
  • The Octagon is possible place
  • Outside space might be unpredictable
  • Tom Evans Park downtown might be a good place

  • AHS Fall Play
